The hotel is quite a walk from the Vieux Port...and as other remarked, is a bit of a challenge to find until you've done it once. Marseille has added some signage which make going up from the Corniche easy, if you turn at the corner where the Ruhl is. The place is quiet and the reception desk people were helpful, cost and room were fine, but not memorable. Not actually sure we would go back to Marseille considering all the other wonderful places there are in Provence, but the setting on the cliffs along the coast is fabulous. We would make time to do the Calanques, however...and stay in Cassis.
